Good evening Jam Jarers!
We hope you're all well and suitably cosy with a cuppa on this chilly Monday evening.
Tonight's blog is a little look at yesterday's stand at the fabulous Birmingham Vintage Wedding Fayre, which was held in the gorgeous Council House in Victoria Square. We joined two glorious rooms full of the Midlands finest vintage wedding suppliers to meet over 300 lovely brides and grooms. Please excuse our own poor images - the light wasn't great for smart phone photography! Thankfully Nikki Cooper Photography got some lovely shots of the day which we have borrowed to show you.
We left most of our large props at HQ and just took along our Perfect Day package (our two lovely grey ladders and our matching chalk board easel) and lots of our smaller print and bespoke bits and pieces to show a little more of the collection than our last fayre at the beautiful Stone Manor last year.
Our exclusive goodie bags, which had our Jam Jar flyer, samples of our cootie catcher wedding programs, wedding table games leaflets, sparkler tags, seed favour packets and some exclusive special offers were a big hit and we all 50 were gone in less than 30 minutes!
We ran a couple of special fayre only offers and our Perfect Day Package with an added treat was a big success - two bookings in the diary straight away and lots of enquiries throughout the day today. We'll be holding the offers until Sunday if you haven't had chance to check your date with us!
We even had a visit from Angellina and Josh, one of our Summer couples, who came by to say hi which was lovely! We had some of their vintage travel themed props on the stand so it was lovely to show them how some of their displays will look on their big day.
As always, our ladders were the piece that everyone snapped for pinterest (who doesn't love a vintage ladder soaked in gorgeousness?) but it was clear that our sparklers, date jar and wedding programs were all bang on trend as they had a constant flow of admirers too!
My number one employee (my awesome mother!) came along to help out with the stand, chat to lovely brides, and keep starbucks in business!
We had a brilliant day, and as a bride, I can't recommend the Vintage Wedding Fayre highly enough if you're looking for inspiration or suppliers for your big day. All of the stands looked fantastic (it was a shame we were too busy to go and have proper look!) but some of the ones we got 5 minutes to look at properly included these beautiful things...
All in all a big fat 10/10 from us and we hope to exhibit at many more Vintage Wedding Fayres to come!
Peace and love folks
