Good morning my dears!
If, like Mr. Jam Jar and I, you're looking for a cheap and oh so cheerful way to decorate your venue (inside and out!) today's post is a little shopping list just for you, ready for our bunting tutorial coming later in the week.
Hessian, (sometimes called Jute or Burlap) bunting is by far the quickest, cheapest (other than paper which we'll be doing later in the spring), easiest bunting we've ever made and if you're planning a rustic/eco/outdoor wedding we think it's an absolute necessity!
So far, in just a few hours while baby Jam Jar has been napping, we've drawn, cut, sewn and threaded 170 flags, and the best of it - it's cost us less than £12! The only skill you need for this tutorial is to be able to sew a basic straight stitch on your sewing machine and a little bit of patience!
To make approx 224 flags of bunting (this will depend on the width of your fabric), you will need the following:
We'll give you a few days to get your bits and bobs together and then we'll post our step by step guide.
Happy shopping dears,
Peace and love
